ARTIST OF COLOUR

The scholarship offers a unique opportunity for performers who identify as Bla(c)k, Indigenous, or as People of Colour.

The scholarship covers the full cost of attending the program, including fees, we can also provide assistance for interstate/overseas applicants. We understand that traveling to attend the program can be challenging, especially for those coming from different states or regions or overseas. Therefore, we offer support in terms of travel arrangements, accommodation, and any other logistical needs to ensure that all eligible candidates can participate in the program regardless of their location.

To be considered for the scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  1. Identify as Bla(c)k, Indigenous, or as People of Colour: We prioritise the voices and experiences of individuals from these communities, as they are often underrepresented in the performing arts industry.

  2. Available for the full program dates: The scholarship is awarded to individuals who can commit to attending the entire duration of the program. This ensures that participants can fully immerse themselves in the training and take advantage of all the opportunities provided.

We encourage all eligible candidates to apply for this scholarship and take advantage of this unique opportunity to enhance their artistic skills, gain valuable experience, and connect with industry professionals. By providing financial support and addressing logistical challenges, we aim to create a more inclusive and diverse Performing Arts community.
