Capture your Confidence -Industry Modelling Workshop
Attention Dancers, Performing Artists, Models and Young People Seeking to Boost Their Confidence!
RISE is thrilled to announce an exceptional holiday workshop this July, designed to empower young individuals and enhance their mental health, wellbeing, and self-esteem. While this workshop is perfect for dancers and performing artists, it is also ideal for those interested in modeling or simply looking to improve their confidence and mindset.
Led by Jackie Scott, Director of RISE and mental health expert, alongside renowned photographer Kylie Southwood, top industry professionals in hair and makeup, and distinguished talent agents, this exclusive one-day course offers participants a transformative experience.. Attendees will learn essential skills from industry professionals, including:
Makeup Artistry: Beauty & Make Up professionals from the Runway Room will run an interactive demonstration focusing on good beauty practices, prepping the skin and make up application. The demonstration will help participants to understand styles and color palettes that suit them best.
Personal Branding: Participants will explore what makes them unique and different, and how to showcase this through their self-tapes, auditions and runway walk.
Photography Workshop: Renowned photographer Kylie Southwood will teach participants how to behave on set, showcase their best selves, and pose confidently in front of the camera. Each participant will have the chance to be photographed professionally with feedback and advice.
Runway Workshop: Lily Rose, an internationally signed Australian model, and her mother Louise Kovacs, a celebrated model with 30 years of experience, bring their expertise to the Capturing Your Confidence workshop. They focus on teaching the fundamentals of runway walking, including posture, presentation, poses, and turns, in a positive and supportive environment.
Lily and Louise prioritize the well-being of their participants, ensuring that the workshop fosters personal growth and self-confidence. Through individual, couple, and group walk exercises, attendees will gain the essential skills needed to develop a professional runway style walk.
